A handsome town home sits opposite the beach on the corner of Calle del Invierno and Beach Road on Siesta Key. Casa de Mariposa - Spanish for butterfly - is a building of many uses. Sometimes it serves as the setting for large family reunions held by its owner, Bambi Famous Kaine. Sometimes it welcomes wedding parties, anniversaries, graduations, Bar Mitzvahs and other such milestone celebrations.

Often it is rented to families, couples and travelers who wish to enjoy its hospitable comfort and luxurious appointments. Six weeks a year it is donated to different charities, such as the Make a Wish Foundation, to be offered at auction to bring money to the specific organization. Casa de Mariposa is a beautiful setting in which lasting memories are created.

Located opposite Access #10 on Beach Road, the property is actually two town houses under a single roof. They share a spacious heated swimming pool, tables, umbrellas and barbeque area. Each town house has three full bedrooms and three full baths. Both have elevators and a large ground floor cabana room.

Butterflies are both ornamentation and a remembrance throughout the house.

These town houses may be used separately for smaller gatherings, or grouped together to accommodate a larger number of people. The residences are completely furnished with full kitchens, laundry, flat screen DVD/VCRs in every room, wireless Internet, linens, salt water aquariums, bicycles, strollers, cribs, dog crates, cappuccino machines, and lovely views of beach and pool from six terraces.

The butterfly motif is everywhere to be seen, from unique wrought iron gates to original paintings and decorative items scattered throughout the living areas. Each room has some kind of signature butterfly, and the grounds include a beautiful butterfly garden.
